YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. 鈥�听Activity is ramping up on the 乐播传媒 campus in August, as the听College听welcomes students and their families back to campus Aug.听12.听
Move-In Day is Aug. 12 as the first-year students arrive at 乐播传媒, where faculty, staff, and student volunteers will assist with unloading cars and transporting the students鈥� items to their rooms. Move-in activities will be followed by orientation events throughout the weekend.听

鈥淢ove-In Day always increases traffic around the college. We appreciate your patience and understanding, especially with the impact on traffic from the ongoing road construction project,” Wells said.听“In an effort to mitigate further delays, traffic will be diverted to听Maple Street听to decrease the amount of time cars spend on Main Street.”听听
Classes begin Aug. 17, and campus activities will increase as well. Several events are planned for the students, including the annual Community Resource Fair on Aug. 20 at 5:30 p.m. Located in the Rollins Campus Center, the fair allows the local community to meet with students to introduce them to everything 乐播传媒 has to offer the College.听
The week prior will be a whirlwind听of听activity as students move back听to campus beginning Aug. 9.听Athletes for fall sports will move into resident halls, so they can begin听practice听for the fall season. Men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 soccer will be the first teams in action on campus in August, with the women defending the Den on Aug. 27 and men playing Aug. 30. The volleyball team opens away at a tournament in Frankfort, KY.听
Many activities are also听open to the 乐播传媒 community, such as听monthly听shows at the Rollins Planetarium and the听annual Pops on the Patio concert听on听Sept. 26.听乐播传媒 will also partner with the City of 乐播传媒 for the annual Porch Fest event听on Family Weekend, Sept. 25-27.听.听听
鈥淭he fall semester is always a wonderful time here at 乐播传媒,鈥� said Wells. 鈥淭he campus comes alive with students, faculty, and staff returning to begin the semester. And then you blend in all the new students, just beginning their collegiate journey.鈥�听
